Vito is a spunky three-year-old juvenile, 8.5 cm carapace length and 96 grams.  Cold stunned when when he was rescued on 21 February near the Fox Island marsh, he was gradually warmed, fed, and protected, and is awaiting his release back into the wild.  Vito is the only live terrapin recovered from Wellfleet Harbor this winter.
